Older Russian/asian man with round glasses who kept me, layne, siblings and random people in a 2 story asylum house. He would take us into a room each morning and night and turn fans on that would make us dizzy, I tried to escape once down the back yard and hill but got caught and brought back. “The man” would be staring at me with his arms crossed watching my every move. Then he put locks on the doors that only his thumbprint could unlock and would up the dosage of the fan room and make us pass out where we would then wake up in our rooms. We were allowed to play at a playground outside but when I went I would have “watchers” that had to go with me and make sure I didn’t escape. I convinced one of the watchers that he was trying to kill us and then she helped me get into his office. I found a door to the outside in his office and managed to make it out and to the police station where a lady police listened, Naynay and pawpaw met us at the house where I took them to a “doctors appointment” and they helped me rescue everyone else. While trying to sneak everyone else out “the man” grabbed me and I woke up kicking the air, hyperventilating and crying.
This dream seems to reflect feelings of being trapped or controlled in a situation where you are unable to escape or assert your own autonomy. The older Russian/Asian man with round glasses could represent a figure of authority or a perceived threat in your waking life who exerts power and control over you and others, symbolized by the asylum house.
The fans that make you dizzy and eventually cause you to pass out may symbolize feelings of confusion, manipulation, or being overpowered by external influences. The locked doors that only the man's thumbprint can open suggest barriers or restrictions that prevent you from breaking free from this oppressive environment.
The role of "watchers" accompanying you to the playground could symbolize surveillance or a sense of being constantly monitored and restricted in your actions. The moment when you are able to convince one of the watchers and eventually escape to the police station may suggest a desire for liberation and seeking help or support from external sources.
The involvement of family members like Naynay and pawpaw in helping you rescue everyone else indicates a sense of unity, protection, and support in overcoming challenges together. However, the final moment where the man grabs you before you wake up could represent lingering fears or unresolved emotions related to the situation depicted in the dream.
Overall, this dream may be exploring themes of control, power dynamics, vulnerability, and the struggle for independence and freedom in the face of oppressive forces in your waking life. It could be a reflection of your subconscious anxieties or a metaphor for situations where you feel limited or restricted in some way.
